Wine and Dine - Food:

Yes it is time for you to have too much to eat and too much to drink. Food generally in Bulgaria is cheap, the table just shows the prices that could entice you. As mentioned our apartment complex would be having its own restaurant functioning in the summer of 2008. However we would recommend you to explore the possibilities and varieties of food not only in and around the complex but in all the other resorts as mentioned below.

Nesebar is a good start with all the sea food in the world fresh for that day cooked and served in any style that you would like. Kapitanska Shreshta is the best rated restaurant in the Nesebar area for sea food, other restaurants in this category are the Flaman and Sevina, watch out for these. Romantic has a wonderful terrace for our seating pleasure, further sea view restaurants in the mainland and the peninsula are Neptun, Plakamo and Panorama, look out for these.

Cafe Rumi is the long established Cake and Ice Cream Parlour that we recommend Klio Ice cream parlour is a favourite break for our visitors and the tourists there. Eating out is very reasonable compared to most European countries. A standard meal usually consists of meat served with potatoes in some form and a portion or two of vegetables. A coffee costs not more than 0.50 Euro; a beer is about 0.80 Euro. A good dinner for two with glasses of wine in a decent restaurant can cost you in the range of 10 Euros.

Tap water is safe to drink, but the price of bottled water is so low that no one even minds a bottle or two. Throughout Bulgaria, you will find catering establishments of different categories serving different foods. Menus are usually printed in both Bulgarian and English. Restaurants stay open from 11am to midnight, but may work around the clock!
